Spacecubed activates coworking spaces, whole buildings, enterprises and programs through their platform and managed services. They manage a host of flexible working spaces (including their space ‘Riff’ where the House Digital and Devhouse teams are based) and programs (such as their flagship Plus Eight accelerator and She Codes program).
When the Spacecubed team first approached House Digital they had recently launched their new bespoke Spacecubed Platform, and were eager to build more relationships with other building owners, coworking operators and enterprises in order to leverage the platform fully. Their old website, while sufficient five years ago, did not give them the flexibility they were looking for, and didn’t play well with HubSpot (which they use extensively).
We worked closely with the Spacecubed marketing & management teams to identify what was important for the website now, as well as what functionality they were likely to need over the coming years as the company inevitably expanded and pivoted. Some of the key features we identified included:
- As much integration as possible with HubSpot
- Clear and obvious pathways for their three key offerings
- Space Activation (for enterprise/owners)
- Managed Spaces (such as Riff & Flux)
- Programs (like Plus Eight & She Codes)
- A directory of spaces and information on how to access them
- An interactive map showing the locations of available spaces
- Clear links/Call to Action pointing visitors to the platform
To execute this vision, we used deep integration with the HubSpot blog and forms to ensure that all data was captured in their CRM so they could track leads and opportunities. We also implemented the HubSpot chat widget, to maximise engagement through the website. We created custom modules to allow their team to add & update content easily, including spaces, programs and events. New spaces are automatically added to the interactive map, and we also created the ability for them to add available ‘microspaces’ (such as meeting rooms or event spaces) within each parent space.
Not to overlook existing Spacecubed members, we also overhauled the benefits and passport pages, which are linked to from within the platform, and allow members to easily find information about perks and offers available to them.
In early 2023, Spacecubed engaged us again to conduct some more changes to their website following the pivots their business has taken over the past few years. This included a more comprehensive and searchable event space booking directory, further customisation of their flagship programs to provide further information to stakeholders, and we are currently working with their software development team to facilitate direct API integration with their internal platform to further reduce admin burden by automatically importing events being held at Spacecubed venues.
